Keeping Your Systems Running Smoothly

As your business grows, your systems naturally grow with it.

The automations, forms, emails and workflows we've built are designed to work together, which means even a small change can sometimes have unexpected knock-on effects elsewhere in your business.

To make sure your systems remain reliable, here's how I manage ongoing support and change requests.

Reporting and issue

Support covers situations where something that was previously working has unexpectedly stopped working.

Examples include:

A form no longer submits correctly.

An automation has stopped running.

An integration has disconnected.

A workflow is producing an unexpected error.

A system outage or technical fault.

If an issue is affecting your ability to run your business, I'll always do my best to investigate as quickly as possible.

Changes & Improvements

Many requests begin with "Can we just..."

Often these appear to be small changes, but because your systems are connected, even adding a single email, changing a form or adjusting a workflow may require changes across several parts of your setup.

Examples include:

Adding or removing emails.

Changing customer journeys.

Updating enquiry forms.

Creating new automations.

Changing CRM pipelines.

Updating booking processes.

Adjusting integrations.

Creating new reports or dashboards.

These requests are treated as enhancement work rather than support.

Every change starts with an impact review

Before making any change, I take time to understand how it will affect the rest of your system.

This protects the work that's already in place and helps avoid unintended problems elsewhere.

Sometimes a request genuinely is a quick adjustment.

Other times, what appears to be a five-minute change can require several workflows, integrations or automations to be updated behind the scenes.

I'll always let you know what's involved before carrying out the work.

Scheduling work

I carefully plan my diary to ensure every client receives the time and attention their work deserves.

Unless something has unexpectedly stopped working, change requests are scheduled into my next available project time rather than completed immediately.

This allows me to maintain the quality and stability of every client's systems.

Urgent requests

If a change is business critical and needs to be completed urgently, I'll always do my best to help.

Where possible, I'll rearrange my schedule to accommodate urgent work.

Depending on the amount of work involved, urgent requests may incur additional charges if they require existing work to be moved or reprioritised.

My commitment

My role isn't simply to build systems.

It's to make sure they continue supporting your business as it grows.

Every recommendation I make, every change I assess and every update I complete is done with one goal in mind:

To leave your business running more smoothly, more reliably and stronger than before.
