The brief
Life Is Too Short launched as a new protection planning business with no existing systems, processes or infrastructure in place. As the business expanded into multiple service areas and began onboarding self-employed advisers, it needed a scalable operational platform capable of supporting growth, compliance and client delivery.

What I delivered
I designed and implemented a complete operational system using mainly GHL, building the business infrastructure from the ground up.
This included:
• Multi-account CRM architecture across Wills, mortgages and insurance
• Adviser-specific sub-accounts with controlled access and data separation
• Automated client journeys, communications and task management
• Booking systems, payment processing and document workflows
• Websites, landing pages and lead capture systems
• Reporting, tracking and operational processes to support growth
The platform was designed not only for launch, but to accommodate future advisers, services and increased client volumes without requiring a rebuild.

Outcome
Life Is Too Short has grown from a single service offering into a multi-pillar business operating across Wills, mortgages and insurance, all within the same operational ecosystem.

The business now benefits from automated client journeys, integrated payments, centralised reporting and a scalable infrastructure that supports both advisers and leadership. New services and advisers can be added within the existing framework, allowing growth without operational disruption.

Systems and Advertising

Advertising delivery with measurable return

The brief
I was engaged to manage Google and Meta advertising as a standalone service, with a clear focus on performance, tracking and return on investment.

What I delivered
I set up and manage ad campaigns, including conversion tracking and reporting to ensure performance is being measured accurately. Campaigns are structured and refined over time to improve efficiency and attribution. The work is delivered on a defined, ongoing basis, separate from wider operational or marketing support.

Outcome
The campaigns consistently deliver a very strong return on investment, generating over £150 in tracked revenue for every £1 spent on advertising. Performance is monitored and reported transparently, with ongoing optimisation to maintain results.

Retained Operations

Programme and campaign delivery, Clean Cornwall

Organisation: Clean Cornwall (hosted by CRCC)
Engagement: Contracted and employed role
Role: Project Lead. I lead delivery across the programme under the CRCC umbrella.

The context
Following the successful delivery of the commissioned rural transport project, I was asked to remain on in a retained capacity to lead Clean Cornwall and deliver its growing programme of environmental and community initiatives.

What I do
I coordinate and deliver multiple concurrent campaigns and workstreams, including:

Access for All, focused on inclusive environmental events and participation

The Blue Litter Project, supporting the collection and mapping of marine and coastal waste and plastic pollution.

Pubs as Hubs, working with local venues to support environmental awareness.

Planning and delivery of a Network Summit, bringing together councils, partners and volunteer groups

My role involves operational coordination, stakeholder management, campaign delivery, reporting and maintaining clear delivery structures to support consistent work over time.

Outcome
Clean Cornwall operates with clear delivery processes, coordinated partnerships and an evidence-led approach to campaigning. The retained arrangement provides continuity, accountability and momentum across multiple initiatives, without reliance on ad hoc support.

Commissioned Project

Rural transport analysis, West Penwith

Organisation: Cornwall Rural Community Charity (CRCC)
Engagement: Fixed-term contract
Role: Rural Transport Enabler

The brief
CRCC commissioned a fixed-term piece of work to build a robust evidence base on rural transport challenges in West Penwith, to support future decision-making and the development of practical solutions.

What I delivered
I designed and delivered a large-scale community consultation, surveying over 1,000 residents to gather detailed insight into transport access, connectivity and barriers faced by rural communities. I analysed the data and produced a comprehensive written report, setting out findings, themes and implications.

The findings were presented at a multi-agency stakeholder roundtable, bringing together local authorities, community organisations and delivery partners.

Outcome
The report now forms part of a live evidence base being used to explore and develop solutions to a recognised rural transport issue. The work was delivered to a defined scope, within a fixed timeframe, with clear outputs and handover at completion.
